PowerVu Logging Project Update (Dec 28, 2014 Update)

The majority of Powervu transponders have a few hundred unique EMMs with the exploit, some others have a few thousand and a few have only a dozen or none at all! AFN on 99W (3900V) has 181,710 unique EMMs (as expected), whereas 113W (3880V) has zero unique exploitable EMMs. Typical premium channels like 127W (3840V) have 434 EMMs. Our strategy is to brute-force those keys with the most EMMs first and then move on to those with fewer EMMs. We are not using a PC for brute-forcing the keys because it is simply too slow for premium channels and would take years. Instead, we are using an FPGA array (over 100 chips) to find the keys, and even this takes several days for a single premium channel, so people will have to be patient. It will take 3-4 months to get all the keys. We have started...
