Yo también creo que haces una observación valida.
Siempre y cuando que lo que escribas sea verdad. (no tengo los conocimientos para saber
si lo que escribes es correcto o no).
El servicio esta de prueba.
En el momento que deje de ser de prueba.
Tu y solo tu tendrás que tomar la decisión si para ti vale la pena o no.
En mi caso. Yo mirare el precio y decidiré si me conviene o no.

Yo estoy haciendo una observacion / pregunta, sobre una situación existente en la que el servicio está mal.
La respuesta en el foro en inglés y la que tú estás dando es: ya sabemos que el problema está, una vez que esté en producción y pagues US$108 te diremos si se va a arreglar o no.
Como dijo serafin, no nos están regalando nada. Un beta testing como este no es un regalo, es un intercambio en el cual tú me das un producto y yo te ayudo a depurar todo, para que cuando salga el producto final esté lo mejor posible. Diferente es cuando te dan un perÃ*odo de prueba de un producto final, ahÃ* no hay nada que reclamar pues te dan algo totalmente gratis. Esto no es gratis, los que estamos probando en serio, estamos dedicando tiempo (y los que ya compraron la caja, también dinero), para probar cuáles canales funcionan y cuales no, cuáles funcionan en ciertas condiciones y cuáles no; qué ajustes ayudan a que todo funcione mejor, etc.

Que si tu quieres saber como se hace un servicio de IPTV y eres tan perfecto.

Nadie te obliga a comprar nada.
Y si te invito a que pases por el foro en ingles.
Quiero ver como te responden a tus inquietudes.

Bueno, al parecer no estoy solo en mi reclamo.
La siguiente es una transcripción del foro en inglés, por uno de los moderadores:

THE NFPS AGENDA SEEMS TO BE TO CREATE A SERVICE WITH AS MANY CHANNELS AS POSSIBLE IN AS SHORT A TIME AS POSSIBLE SO THAT THE NEW SERVICE IS IN PLACE AND AVAILABLE FOR SUBSCRIBERS BEFORE THE EVENTUAL DEMISE OF IKS.
SINCE THERE IS NO REAL COMMUNICATION FROM YOU (NFPS) IT WOULD SEEM TO INDICATE THAT YOU ARE OBLIVIOUS TO THE ISSUES THAT MANY ARE HAVING WITH THE NEW IPTV SERVICE. I CONCUR WITH THE CONCERNS OF MANY OTHERS, WHAT IS THE POINT OF ADDING CHANNELS AND MORE CHANNELS AND EXPANDING THE VoD LIBRARY IF A GREAT MANY TESTERS ARE FINDING A GOOD PERCENTAGE OF THAT CONTENT IS EITHER DOWN OR FREEZING TO THE POINT THAT WATCHING IT IS NOT VIABLE OPTION?
IT WOULD SEEM TO ME AFTER THE SHORT PERIOD OF TESTING THAT I HAVE DONE THAT IT IS TIME TO STOP ADDING CONTENT AT LEAST FOR THE TIME BEING AND TO CONCENTRATE ON WHATEVER IT TAKES TO MAKE THE SERVICE STABLE, AS FREEZE FREE AS POSSIBLE, MAKE THE CONTENT THAT IS THERE VIEWABLE AND IF THAT MEANS REMOVING CHANNELS THAT ARE CONSTANTLY DOWN THEN DO SO. YOU CAN ALWAYS ADD CONTENT ONCE THE SERVICE IS STABLE AND AS FREEZE FREE AS POSSIBLE.
THE IMPORTANCE THAT YOU HAVE GIVEN AN EPG AS AN OPTION THAT YOU WILL ADD AFTER THE SERVICE IS LAUNCHED BUT NOT QUITE SURE WHEN IS A MAJOR ERROR.
INSTALL AN EPG FOR THE LIVE TV! I BELIEVE THERE HAVE BEEN SUFFICIENT POSTS BY ENOUGH TESTERS INCLUDING MYSELF SO THAT YOU SHOULD BE AWARE THAT AN EPG IS FAR MORE IMPORTANT THAN I THINK YOU INITALLY THOUGHT AND THAT IT SHOULD NOT BE POSTPONED WITH THE INTENTION OF ADDING IT AFTER THE SERVICE IS FORMALLY LAUNCHED.
WITHOUT AN EPG THE LIVE TV IS TRULY A HASSLE TO USE AND SPEAKING FOR MYSELF SIMPLY NOT WORTH THE CHANGES REQUIRED TO FIND A TV SHOW TO WATCH. HAVING TO SCROLL DOWN TO A CHANNEL AND WAIT FOR A PREVIEW TO LOAD THAT IS IF THAT PARTICULAR CHANNEL IS NOT DOWN AT THE TIME YOU SELECT IT, JUST TO FIND OUT THAT YOU ALREADY SAW THE PROGRAM OR YOUR NOT INTERESTED IN IT OR IT IS HALF OVER ALREADY - SO YOU SCROLL TO THE NEXT POSSIBILITY AND FIND THE SAME AS BEFORE SO YOU GO TO ANOTHER AND ANOTHER AND FINALLY YOU FIND SOMETHING YOU WANT TO WATCH AND FIND OUT THAT PROGRAM THAT YOU DID WANT TO WATCH HAS ALREADY BEEN RUNNING FOR 20 MINUTES WHICH IS JUST ABOUT THE AMOUNT OF TIME YOU SPENT SCROLLING THROUGH THE CHANNELS AND WATCHING PREVIEWS!
AN IPTV SERVICE WITH EVEN 400 LIVE TV CHANNELS AND A VoD LIBRARY SIMILAR IN SIZE TO WHAT IS ALREADY THERE IF THOSE 400 CHANNELS AND VoD MOVIES ARE UP AND NOT FREEZING AND THERE IS A GUIDE TO FIND OUT WHAT IS AVAILABLE ON THOSE CHANNELS WITHOUT HAVING TO BLINDLY SCROLL FROM CHANNEL TO CHANNEL WILL DEFINITELY HAVE FAR MORE APPEAL TO YOUR POTENTIAL CLIENTELE THAN AN IPTV SERVICE WITH 1000 OR 1500 CHANNELS WITH HALF OF THEM CONSTANTLY GOING DOWN OR FREEZING AND WITH NO GUIDE TO ALLOW A QUICK AND EASY USER SELECTION OF WHAT THEY WANT TO WATCH.
I AM WELL AWARE THAT THIS SERVICE IS IN IT'S TESTING MODE AND IS OFFERED FREE OF CHARGE. I AM ALSO AWARE THAT NFPS HAS A TRADITION OF WHEN A SERVICE IS LAUNCHED THEY DO NOT STOP IN THEIR ATTEMPTS TO IMPROVE IT AND TO CONTINUOUSLY ADD CONTENT AND YOU HAVE PROVEN THAT WITH YOUR IKS SERVICE.
WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF HAVING THE MEMBERSHIP HERE TEST THIS NEW SERVICE AS YOU ARE BUILDING IT?
WHY DID YOU CREATE A SECTION WITH IPTV FORUMS AND INCLUDE SPECIFICALLY ONE TO REPORT ISSUES AND ANOTHER FOR GENERAL DISCUSSIONS OF THE SERVICE?
YOU HAVE SEEMINGLY BEEN IGNORING BOTH THE INPUT FROM YOUR STAFF AND THE MEMBERSHIP THAT HAS BEEN TESTING THIS NEW SERVICE SO WHAT IS THE POINT OF HAVING US TEST IT AT ALL??? PERHAPS ONLY TO HELP YOU TEST THE LOAD ON THE SERVERS AND IF THAT IS THE CASE YOU SHOULD NOT HAVE CREATED THESE IPTV FORUMS.

I HAVE BEEN AN ARDENT SUPPORTER OF NFPS ALMOST FROM IT'S INCEPTION AND I REMAIN SO AND I SINCERELY HOPE THAT YOU WILL TAKE A STEP BACK FROM YOUR IPTV BUILDING EFFORTS AND READ WHAT HAS BEEN POSTED IN THESE FORUMS BY BOTH STAFF AND MEMBERS ALIKE THAT HAVE BEEN TESTING THE SERVICE AS YOU HAVE BEEN BUILDING IT. A mi me gusta que el servicio tenga muchos canales.
Que cuando falle alguno pueda ver otros.
Es bien fácil criticar y criticar y criticar cuando se esta detrás de un ordenador
y no se arriesga casi nada.
No hay nada que le impida a nadie hacer su propio servicio.
Solo espero que si lo hacen. Permitan que vengan usuarios
a criticar sus fallas.
El servicio es gratis y esta en modo de prueba.
Ni por un momento piensen que se les

Estoy de acuerdo en tus observaciones randall720.
En otros casos al parecer si ponen atencion como los requerimientos de canales, el mas reciente los de Peru, tenian toda esta semana pidiendo canales de Peru y hoy los subieron.
En otros casos no nos conceden como es el de los VOD, el idioma de las peliculas en español, siguen subiendo peliculas en español iberico.
La calidad de los canales se maneja desde el servidor y lo hace un hardware estoy casi seguro que esta si mejorara cuando terminen las pruebas.
Solo queda esperar y seguir con estas observaciones, hasta tener una respuesta formal o que termine la prueba y ver en que queda todo esto.

AquÃ* las palabras clave es "al parecer".
Cosa que indica que se cree, puede ser, tal vez.
Lo que indica que los reclamos de los canales del Perú fueron escuchados o simplemente
les toco el turno a esos canales.
Lo que si es cierto es que la mayorÃ*a esta adivinando y de esa forma se deben tomar todos los comentarios.

que bueno que pusieron los canales del Peru, ahora solo falta que pongan los canales de Puerto Rico.
